All roads lead to the iconic Paul Kagame’s fatherland, Rwanda, for the third edition of the Africa Tech Summit that will hold at the Kigali Convention Centre from February 4 to 6, 2020.
Over the years, Africa has been relentless in transforming its countries from the underdeveloped state to innovation hubs. Its teeming population of vibrant youths are always hungry for change and thereby, seek education at all cost. No wonder many African startups are making it into the global market and giving their “white” counterparts a close chase in the technology industry.
Another success is about to be recorded in the technology sector of Africa as hundreds of innovators, entrepreneurs, startups, and technocrats troop into the beautiful city of Kigali to discuss the latest issues and development strategies in the technology industry. Amazingly, the big leagues of global investors and international delegates from companies like Facebook, Safaricom, Airtel, EchoVc, London Stock Exchange, Dubai Chamber of Commerce, Bolt, Flutterwave, and Microsoft will grace the event.
The summit focuses on three tracks – The Africa Start-up Summit, The Future Summit, and Blockchain summit. The Africa Startup Summit aims at connecting startups to pitch their ideas to the international investors. It also promises to connect young entrepreneurs with business tycoons for mentorship.
Moreover, the Future Summit track is an avenue for the tech experts, international investors, and entrepreneurs to rub minds on the future trends of Fintech, e-commerce, Payments and Credit, Artificial intelligence, Mobile money, among others. They will thoroughly analyze the prospects of these industries and the ways of making them thrive better.
In the same vein, the Blockchain Summit will throw more light on the strategies of investing profitably in cryptocurrencies, crypto policies and regulations, and other relevant topics. Although this is not the first time that the tech summit will be held in Africa, this year edition promises to be the crème de la crème. The caliber of people coming for this third edition is mind-blowing.
